Privacy and Safety Rules

No profile visible. No name. No photo. No location. You enter as a randomly generated Soul identity that changes every session. Even FadeMinds staff cannot link your Soul identity to your real account.
No Screenshots
Screenshot and screen recording are blocked at the operating system level on both iOS and Android. What is said in FadeRoom stays in FadeRoom — technically guaranteed, not just promised.
Messages Fade in 24 Hours
Every message is automatically and permanently deleted after exactly 24 hours using a database TTL index. There is no manual deletion — the system deletes everything. Nothing you say exists permanently.
FadeAI Safety Monitoring
FadeAI monitors every room in real time. Hate speech, abuse, and harmful content are removed in under two seconds. Crisis language triggers a private, gentle message offering professional resources — never visible to other users.
No Profile Linkage
FadeRoom activity never appears on your FadeMinds profile, feed, or any analytics. Your FadeRoom sessions are completely isolated from your main account — technically, not just by policy.
FadeMinds Platform Control
FadeMinds can close any room instantly. No organisation, Page, or user has more authority than the platform in FadeRoom. Safety is not negotiable and is never overridden by any creator or sponsor.

FadeRoom Technical Privacy

FadeRoom runs on a completely isolated microservice with its own separate database. There is no data connection between FadeRoom and any other FadeMinds service.

Soul IDs are generated using a one-way cryptographic hash. Even with full database access, it is technically impossible to link a Soul identity back to a real user account.
